So I cut my hair about a month ago and immediately wanted it back 😩. So I decided to that since I was going to focus on my hair growth the best way to do it would be to track it. This easy DIY shirt will help to monitor the progress. Thought I would share in case you are working on growing out your hair as well. (Nice social distancing project).
What you'll need

White T-shirt

Permanent Marker

A Ruler

Cardboard
Steps
1
Gather materials. Place T-shirt onto cardboard so that marker doesn’t bleed through.
2
Place ruler vertically on T-shirt. Take your marker and place dots on shirt 1 inch apart.
3
Using the dots as spacing guides, draw horizontal lines down the shirt one inch apart.
4
Number each line. This will be helpful in monitoring your growth.
5
Your shirt is finished now it’s time to do a length check.
6
You will now take 3 pictures. Pic #1: is your wet hair. Stand straight with head facing forward
7
Pic #2: Stretch your wet hair and see where it falls. Remember to keep head facing forward.
8
Pic #3: Your dry hair length. Wow, shrinkage! Repeat length check once a month.
